I interviewed other lawyers before deciding to work with Amalia. Other lawyers wasted time telling me anecdotes that were not relevant to my case, and did not give me the sense that they would advocate or support me through this process. That was not the case with Amalia. The first thing that impressed me was how extremely efficient she is. She will not waste your time or money! She is caring, professional, and kind. Amalia's expert guidance and knowledge of case law is a huge reason that I survived the devastating blow of my divorce. When I was off balance and reeling, she was firm, fair, and honest, when working with my former spouse and her counsel. Amalia worked well with the opposing counsel, guiding them in the nuances of Collaborative Family Law, when opposing counsel was new to the process. She ran excellent and efficient meetings, and was fair and transparent in all administrative and financial matters. I really can't thank her enough for the help she gave me and my two sons. Honestly, it is hard to speak of positive experiences when revisiting my divorce, however my counsel, was a positive. Amalia Schön was the reason it turned out the way it did - fairly, expediently, without any time in court, and keeping the best interests of both of my two sons front and centre in the process.

Amalia Schön helped me alot during some of the darkest days of my life. I took a chance on Amalia, not knowing where to turn for help and never before finding myself in need of a Family lawyer, I did not have a clue whom to choose online.
I found Amalia Schön online and the thing I remember most was she called herself more of a mediator in Family law than just a divorce lawyer, Amalia negotiated a fair settlement when all communications had ended and no resolution was possible on my own when my commonlaw relationship had ended very badly and abruptly. There were many times during my family law case where I wanted to give up and leave this all behind me, however Amalia was a fierce advocate for me and ensured that I fought for what I deserved. Ahhhh, how did my separation agreement go? Well is anyone's separation fun? Probably not... but as far as the legal stuff went, Amalia was a joy to work with. It's always daunting retaining a lawyer because we all know they seemingly bill by the millisecond... but Amalia has time efficiency and friendliness as well as expertise and professionalism at the forefront of her service offering.
